We are seeking a team leader for this hospital owned clinic comprised of four primary care providers. This candidate will work alongside the team members, assisting when needed with daily duties and report to the Chief Executive Officer. Experience in physician office operations is must as well as knowledge and experience with coding and billing in a physician office environment. Strong people skills combined with experience will bring success to this challenging and rewarding career opportunity.
Position Responsibilities include:
•Oversee the medical and administrative operations of the clinic.
•Supervise and manage clinical and administrative staff.
•Understand and manage the entire clinic revenue cycle process to include scheduling, billing, audits, etc.
•Serve as the point of contact for all patient concerns and/or complaints.
•Maintain compliance with applicable Federal, State and local regulatory requirements.
•Establish and follow policies and procedures related to the clinics medical practice.
•Work in coordination with the financial department to review operations and monthly reporting requirements.
•Work in coordination with the Quality Improvement Director to ensure compliance with Physician Quality Reporting.
•Organize and lead meetings related to practice performance and operational changes in order to increase quality and efficiency.
•Work in coordination with the Marketing Director to increase visibility in the community.
•Work in coordination with the Human Resource Director on staff changes and issues.
•Accept and complete other duties as assigned.
•Education: Bachelor’s degree Preferred
•Experience: 5 years of experience in healthcare with 3 years in a managerial position preferred
