Full-time Respiratory Therapist Team Leader
Organizes, directs and coordinates functions and activities in the RT department appropriate to skill level of the staff.
Collaborates with medical staff and other providers to ensure optimal care to patients and their families.
Assigns personnel appropriately.
Ensures adequate staff coverage is available for the delivery of quality patient care.
Ensures that patient care delivery follows accepted standards of practice and maintains policies and procedures according to State and Federal regulations.
Ensures that equipment is maintained at level a conducive to quality care.
Administers the department’s assets in an efficient, cost-effective manner.
Adheres to reimbursement regulations as set forth by State, Federal, and private entities.
Follows all departmental and SCKMC policies and procedures.
Develops QI activities for the department in conjunction with the Core Ancillary Services Manager and encourages participation from the team.
Must be able to perform all of the functions of a CRT/RRT
Additional duties as assigned.
Education: Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Care Program or the equivalent.
License: CRT or RRT
Certifications: Must be registered with the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts
Experience: 5-10 years of clinical experience and a minimum of one year of leadership experience.
